This 1909 pre-war apartment, located in a historic building on Central Park West, was purchased by our clients, a young and expanding family. While we appreciated the apartment's classic details, the traditional, compartmentalized layout did not suit their modern lifestyle. Rather than compromising the home's character, we focused on creating a balance between its historical elements and contemporary needs. By reorganizing the spatial flow and enhancing visual connections among the main living areas, we maintained the apartment's original charm while adapting it for modern living.
